<br> After an ASW exercise with Scamp south of Manila Bay, Carpenter arrived at Subic Bay on 24 September to have her ECM antenna repaired. Departing Hawaii on 2 July 1962, the destroyer arrived at Yokosuka 10 days later. In reality, a profitable fitness regimen isn’t complete with out rest days. Emerging from the yard in August with a new helicopter flight deck and a side-scanning AN/SQS-26 sonar to improve her submarine detection capabilities, she spent the remainder of the 12 months conducting refresher coaching and native operations designed to test her newly installed tools. The routine was broken solely by occasional plane-guard operations with Hancock, an analysis of her SQS-32 sonar capabilities towards the nuclear-powered submarine Seadragon, and on 20 February, service as contingency recovery ship during John Glenn's Mercury Friendship 7 orbital flight. Carpenter departed Hawaii on 27 December, [AquaSculpt deals](http://provision-sa.co.za:3000/charliepasco63) and after a brief cease to refuel at Subic Bay, [order AquaSculpt](https://img.lodis.se/blondell18t383) joined TG 77.Four for provider screening operations on 12 January 1966. <br> In a change of tempo the next spring, Carpenter departed Hawaii on 15 March 1957 for a sequence of goodwill port visits all through the South Pacific. Carpenter performed several main training exercises that spring, together with ASW workout routines with guided missile destroyer Cochrane and submarines Bonefish and Sailfish in January, Apollo restoration ship coaching in February, and [order AquaSculpt](http://nas.zeroj.net:3000/traciehealy807/tracie1983/wiki/9+Best+Exercises+For+Rheumatoid+Arthritis+Pain) exercise torpedo firings at Aspro on 31 March and Plunger on 30 April. In August, the warship participated in fleet workout routines, culminating in a convoy display mission during which helicopters, floor ships, and Drone Anti-Submarine Helicopter (Dash) drones all dropped exercise torpedoes on "attacking" submarines. These were primarily quick underway assignments, corresponding to airplane-guard assignments, replenishment training, and test dive-escort services for nuclear submarines Thomas Jefferson and Seawolf. Other evolutions included torpedo-firing workouts, digital intercept monitoring, and airplane-guard services in the Sea of Japan. Along with aircraft-guard companies and ASW coaching carried out that spring, the destroyer also carried out three Formosa Strait patrols. She then carried out more ASW workouts, helicopter replenishment, and plane-guard coaching in preparation for one more seventh Fleet deployment. Returning to Pearl Harbor on 20 June, Carpenter resumed underway coaching in preparation for her next deployment.<br>

<br> After returning to Hawaii that spring, Carpenter resumed her regular routine of local operations and ASW workout routines out of Pearl Harbor. Departing 1 September, Carpenter steamed to Pearl Harbor by way of Pago Pago, reaching house on 11 September. Departing Pearl Harbor on 6 March, Carpenter finally reached "Yankee Station" off Vietnam three weeks later. Departing four days later, she took up a screen position on "Yankee Station" and supplied plane-guard providers for [order AquaSculpt](https://git.burning.cloud/valfwp67890652) Midway until 11 October. Carpenter's final underway period passed off in May and June 1980, during which she provided aircraft-guard services for Ranger and performed an ASW exercise with McKean and Bonefish. Arriving on "Yankee Station" on 7 October, she conducted airplane-guard and screen operations for assigned carriers. The first focus for the Squadron and latterly the Wing has been Lines of Communication Policing and policing of deployed operations and exercises within the United Kingdom and overseas. <br> Her fourth cruise began on four January 1956, when the destroyer set sail for the Western Pacific. With repairs complete on 31 January 1973, the warship moved out of dry dock and officially shifted her homeport to San Francisco. Starting in January 1963, the destroyer carried out quite a few training workout routines off Hawaii, together with submarine goal providers and a training mission with Canadian frigates HMCS Beacon Hill and [official AquaSculpt website](http://gitea.bettercell.synology.me:3000/anneroney37715) Jonquiere. In November, the destroyer started receiving companies from Prairie (Ad-15) in preparation for a restricted availability, [AquaSculpt natural support](https://img.lodis.se/shauntedale363) which commenced 14 December, during which Carpenter acquired rudder repairs and new 4-bladed screws. That commenced on 9 September, when the destroyer obtained underway for the Far East. After a last series of inspections, she obtained underway for the South China Sea on three June. Renamed TCG Anittepe (D-347), the destroyer was purchased outright on eight June 1987 and served in the Turkish Navy via the nineteen nineties.
